Uniquely located on a river island near the French, Swiss and German borders, Golf Du Rhin was very pleasantly surprised by press coverage worth an estimated €100,000 following the announcement of their GEO Certified award. This included golf industry press, television coverage, and even an article in Swiss Airlines Magazine.
The impact of the clubs sustainability work has been very positive; “People tell potential members that we are working on sustainability. Visitors came to see what we have done in respect of the environment and some new members joined because of our work… something the staff and the Committee are proud of.” Michel Zimmerlin, Club Manager.
